Nosy little bugger

Harley was pretty much raised in my car and has gone to work with me (I am in outside sales) a good portion of her life.  She has such a itsy bitsy bladder, so it's much easier to be able to let her out during the day.  She won't have an accident in my car, BUT she will in her kennel which means she is obviously confused.

Anyways, I use to think it was really cute when she would paw at the water bottle in my cup holder over and over again. See, she is smart after all ... And I say that with a grain of salt considering she doesn't know how to do one trick, but she can tell me when she's thirsty and demand water right that minute.  Whenever she does this, and it happens often, I pour some water (from her designated water bottle) in a lid just for her!!  Talk about service.

Well, now she will paw at anything that is in the cup holder thinking I will share with her. It gets annoying, haha!! Then, if there isn't anything for her to paw at, she will consistently paw at the car shift knob! Ohhh yes, until I give her water.

This was from our most recent car ride when this little munchkin thinks it's okay to try and drink Momma's coffee by biting the lid off!!

It all starts with a little sniff sniff ...

Then, casually investigates a way in ....

The gnawing on the lid begins ....

"Mommy, don't get mad at me, it didn't spill ...."

"Fine, I give up and will go back to my bed ...."
(voluntarily)

Oh my gosh that's adorable! & I can see how it might get a little annoying haha! We have to take our pup on our 3 day road trip when we move to TX...he sits in the drivers seat and refuses to go anywhere else, so this should be interesting..hah.

Have a FABULOUS weekend!

So cute! Levi will walk from me to where the closest ball is and back until I go throw it for him. Ball is his favorite thing in the world. I think I am even below it on his totem pole.

Who needs a dog that can sit and shake when you have one that can tell you it needs a drink! :)

Harley is absolutely adorable.

She's too cute! My husband takes our (large!) pup with him to work once every two weeks or so. He loves doing it and so do his coworkers...at least they say they do!

OMGosh she is so cute! My aunt breeds yorkies and I used to have a yorkie-poo. I LOVE those dogs.
How great that you're able to take her with you. We gave our little pup away to a loving family because we felt so bad that he was always home a lone :-(.
Thanks for sharing this story. It put a smile on my face!

So cute! Our little teacup Maltese does the same thing...pawing pawing pawing at the cups, whether they're hers or not.

OMG, this is so funnt because my Cocker Spaniel does the same! Not sure what it is but whenever we are in the car and I have a coffee cup he starts sniffing and before you know it, he is all up on that lid destroying it. It is funny. Thanks for sharing!

How cool that you can take her with you! My work is a big reason why I don't want to get a dog yet. I wouldn't want to leave it at home all day by itself.

Maybe someday when I'm wealthy and famous...

such a yorkie!! Ralphie will get his food dish and bring it to you if you forget to feed him or he gets hungry! He started doing that since he was like 15 weeks old! ha smart little pups we have!

Ha ha that is so funny but I can see why you got slightly annoyed even though your doggie is darling. I guess allowing her the service made her expect it, she is a bit spoiled I suppose, he he. :)

Love it! She's so precious. Isn't it crazy how they know exactly what to do to get exactly what they want? Mine have me completely pegged :-)
