Harley was pretty much raised in my car and has gone to work with me (I am in outside sales) a good portion of her life. She has such a itsy bitsy bladder, so it's much easier to be able to let her out during the day. She won't have an accident in my car, BUT she will in her kennel which means she is obviously confused.
Anyways, I use to think it was really cute when she would paw at the water bottle in my cup holder over and over again. See, she is smart after all ... And I say that with a grain of salt considering she doesn't know how to do one trick, but she can tell me when she's thirsty and demand water right that minute. Whenever she does this, and it happens often, I pour some water (from her designated water bottle) in a lid just for her!! Talk about service.

Well, now she will paw at anything that is in the cup holder thinking I will share with her. It gets annoying, haha!! Then, if there isn't anything for her to paw at, she will consistently paw at the car shift knob! Ohhh yes, until I give her water.
This was from our most recent car ride when this little munchkin thinks it's okay to try and drink Momma's coffee by biting the lid off!!
It all starts with a little sniff sniff ...
Then, casually investigates a way in ....
The gnawing on the lid begins ....
"Mommy, don't get mad at me, it didn't spill ...."
"Fine, I give up and will go back to my bed ...."
(voluntarily)
