For the month of March

I am officially losing my husband starting this week to .......

Google Image

It reminds me of when we were first dating, and he genuinely told me it's his favorite part of the year.  I do like the fact that he LOVES it that much, but come on ...... so many hours of bball under one roof with only one TV.

Thank goodness for laptops so Gabe and I can still spend a little "quality" time together since we will at least be in the same room - Haha!

We are in the same boat girl! I dread March...well and I'm dreading the World Cup this summer...Mainly because I know I won't get to pick what we watch on TV anymore! Lol! Have a great Monday

I'm so glad my husband doesn't really like watching sports. In fact, I think I enjoy it more than he does!

However, I always get stuck watching the Apple Keynote presentations with him.

Don't get me wrong; I have a special place in my heart for Apple, but why watch something informational when there are so many seasons of Smallville to catch up on?

Haha!! I totally understand what you mean! Hang in there....only a few weeks of this! :)

I am right there with your hubby! Love it.

I am on the opposite end...I LOVE March Madness and if I had an abundance of vacation time I would take work off Thursday and Friday to stay home and watch the games :) Your hubby and I would get along well!

I forgot about March Madness. meh.

My hubs is the same, he LOVES college b-ball.

At least you only have to deal with ONE month of your hubbies favorite thing. Guess who gets to watch the hunting channel 365 days a year?...not me, because we saved our marriage by having 3 TV's...you should invest in another one :)
Love, your BFF!!! :)

You've got March Madness...I've got baseball season...at least you won't lose your hubs for MONTHS. Ah ha ha. Happy Monday lady!

I remember an ex-boyfriend once saying to me that he's "out of commission" during football season. I was like, uh...

I'm so glad I'm the one who chooses to watch sports in this relationship... and most of the time it isn't more than 2 games total a year. But, World Cup always excites me... and this year I have to watch March Madness until my alma mater is out. Which, considering it's their first time in and they are such underdogs, won't be too incredibly long! But, I sure am hoping for an upset on Friday! :)

Yeah, baseball and football season are like that for my hubby. And he announces baseball games at the high school he teaches at. Oh well, It's nice having him around the rest of the year. ;-)
P.S. In regard to my "make-up" post...yeah, you're another person who just doesn't need it. Darn you. =)

feelin your pain. i was stuck {in a teeny-tiny hospital room} w/ my husband during the height of football bowl season! who knew that there were so many teams and so many different bowls. oh my word!!! i like football as much as the next person but i thought that if i heard one more commentator that i just might lose my mind!!! here's to a basketball free april!

Nicci said...

Yes, we love basketball in our household but also baseball. I'm super excited for both.

Oh, I feel ya! But at least you only have to endure it for a month or so. My hubs loves drag racing and lucky for us, it just started and goes until Nov. Ugh!! Thank goodness for DVR and another TV!

Ugh! I feel your pain...not only has turkey season just begun here in Alabama, but with the time change it means that TJ won't be getting home until around 8:30!
But, I will say that I do enjoy my "alone" time, just not EVERY night.

I don't know...it ranks right up there with Christmas at our house hahaha! We are both fanatic when it comes to basketball!

My husband isn't a big basketball guy, but come summer and the World Cup its a whole other story. I can't really complain because I'm pretty much the same way, but it doesn't matter when, what time of day, he's dropping whatever he's doing and heading to a bar to watch the game.

My roommates usually lose ME to this every year. I'm so glad I have a boyfriend who's even crazier about it than I am.

My husband told me that March Madness was his favorite time of the year!!! That is crazy! He said it is better than Christmas...get the brackets printed out!!!

My hubby loves college football. I, however, love me some March Madness.

This is how my boyfriend feels about football season -- except the roles are reversed! He's upset that he loses me every Sunday so I can watch my beloved Pats (and the other games if I can squeeze them in). Good luck... just look at the silver lining... you have uninterrupted blogging time! LOL

I love March Madness! You should fill out a bracket based on your favorite colors or favorite mascots...and I bet your bracket will beat your hubby's! :) I look forward to this time every year...and this year is even better b/c my team is a 5 seed...go Aggies! :)

Jen said...

Oh Gosh! This is how Jay is with baseball! Makes for a long season haha!

My husband is obsessed with March Madness...and it is without a doubt his favorite time of the year!!! I feel your pain girl!

Mrs. Pick said...

Maybe it has something to do with me being from Kentucky and my hubby being from Indiana but we both enjoy filling out brackets and watching the game during March Madness!

Emma said...

I loose my husband on Sundays for 6 months during football season. I usually try to find something awesome to do with my time :)

KacieB said...

This cracked me up! If you can't beat them, join'em...being in the same room counts for this! Enjoy the time with your laptop!

Anonymous said...

I feel ya on this one! I like to at least be in the same room too, so I try to have a good gossip magazine or book handy haha! At least it will be over in a few weeks...but before we know it, it will be football season lol!

Jamie Pickle said...

I lose my hubby for the whole football season!!!

katie + bret said...

Girl... do what I did. Instead of fighting the fact that I am CLUELESS about basketball, Bret and I got on Yahoo and made separate brackets and we are turning this into a competition!

Michelle said...

My husband loses ME during March! Let the Madness begin!!

Mykla said...

You should get involved in a bracket! It makes it so much more fun! :-)

Courtney @ One Fine Wire said...

I totally hear ya on that one! Does your husband do all of the fantasy games online?

Our men are obsessed! :)

Mrs. Mama said...

You and I both sister.

My hubs is obsessed with basketball during March Madness! When we were dating I'd pretend to 'love' it too so we could at least spend some time together! How much college basketball can one girl handle!? (a lot actually...)

Samantha said...

I'm not a basketball fan, but at least it's only one month a year right?

Lindsey said...

He and I would get along just fine! I can't wait for my bracket to kick my husband's bracket again :)

This used to happen to me during hockey season. In the end, I decided to give in and learn how the game was played so I could watch with him. Then he bought me a jersey to seal that we were hockey soul mates. SO CUTE! I still have no idea how hockey is played though...

ROTFL I love college hoops so much better than pro.

Me and Big Man are the same way, except I'll blog while he's playing X-box or guitar.

Neha said...

Have been reading about March Madness in many posts....here, it is more of Cricket than any other game...and the IPL fever is on too!

Sierra said...

I know how you feel (not about the sports bit) but about the being in the same room and the man is totally preoccupied! BK has been studying like mad so I am with him but not with him, lol. You can make it through it!

lol-I lose my boyfriend this time of year too! I think the brackets are good and fun, but geez that's alot of basketball!
