Much Needed Touch Up

Our townhouse has needed a little TLC after 4.5 years
of normal wear and tear ... scuffed walls, banged base boards,
and this lady finally had enough!!

I was on a mission to touch up the walls (random)
AND had a sudden desire for it to be like new.
Gabe's response, "What made you think to do this?"

I only rubbed up on the wall once, splattered on my pants twice, and flung it on the carpet three times!!!  I call that a success for a rookie.

Thankfully, paint comes out pretty easy ... and it was only white.
Happy weekend to you all and cheers to being domestic!

I will cheers to being domestic! You are going to show us the after pics, right? We remodeled our home and while the act of it is soooo draining and annoying, the after product is so worth it! Happy weekend to YOU! (Hope the rain lets down :) )

Yay for home improvement! If it's just a scuff and not a chip, the Magic Eraser works wonders :) I love them!

Can't wait to see the finished product! PS - Will you write a post soon (and maybe you already have) about the best places to eat/ go do in Seattle? My family and I are going on vacation there for a few days this summer!

I would be such a disaster doing any household painting! I'm impressed with your limited "oops" moments, I'd be covered from head to toe. =)

Great job!

I despise painting! Every time I do it, I say "Next time we are hiring someone!" And then low and behold find myself doing it again.

And I have to tell you, everytime I open your blog I may or may not swoon a little over your husband. He's quite handsome!

Definite high five on the domestic goddess status! And um... the minor paint flinging is TOTALLY a victory! The first time I painted, I didnt realize you needed to tape between the wall and the white crown moulding. Let's just leave it at that... oops.

That's great that you're getting it taken care of. I hate having stuff like that hang over my head!
