Shopping in YOUR closet: Scarves

Since fall is right around the corner,
Meredith wanted this weeks Shopping in YOUR closet item to be scarves!

I couldn't be more excited because I LIVE in scarves in Seattle.
Seriously, it might be one of my favorite accessories to add to an outfit.
I possibly owned one or two before moving from Dallas, and now have about 15!

My standard winter attire for work during Seattle's rainy winter is slacks, scarf, and heavy jacket,
plus my Burberry rain boots (best purchase made since moving here)!

This was one of my first Burberry scarves, which I love!
I learned really quick that my collection wasn't quite large enough.
(BTW - I am growing my hair back out like this ... Christmas 07)
I randomly bought this scarf from Pitaya for like $15.  I love the colors and the lightweight feel.
My Granny Gayle gave me this scarf from Coldwater creek, and it is AMAZING!
It is super thick, keeps me incredibly warm, and has a great mix of deep purple colors.
This is the one scarf I brought from TX, and it is a staple of mine because it matches everything.
My Momma brought me back this Burberry (imitation) scarf from China!
It was probably the best $5-$10 spent.
I got to go shopping in my sister in law's closet because she doesn't get to wear scarves enough in Dallas, and she knows how much I love them.  It is a pretty gray, long and thick, and really comfy.
Shelby is modeling a cute peace sign scarf :)
I saved probably my favorite scarf for last.
It is a houndstooth black and gray scarf that I just adore!!  I got it from NY for around $8.
I am really mad at myself for not getting more.
and again with a better view!
Now, show us your scarves, and hop on over to Meredith's page to add it to her MckLinky!

I love scarves! You're right - living in Texas doesn't provide you with many opportunities to wear them. But when the weather is right, one can complete an outfit.

*Sam Moon is always a great place to find a cheap new scarf!

I love all of yours! I really like that white one but I'm afraid if I tried to do white I would get it completely dirty.

I love your scarf collection! I have the same pink Burberry scarf and absolutely love it. I really like your hair long too!

Scarves are my thing. They can change the look of an outfit and are, in my opinion, the perfect accessory.

I love scarves too. I recently decided I wanted one that was super bulky and squishy like a knit sweater.
