Meet The Smiths

I am your typical southern girl ~ born and raised in Dallas, TX.  Thanks to my career in Pharmaceutical Sales, it brought our little family to Seattle, WA.  My husband is a Broker in Commercial Real Estate and works hard so we can play hard.  We fell in love instantly with the city, which I have to add .... Seattle is the neatest city I have ever been to. We love having skiing, camping, hiking, all within 60 miles! Gabe and I are so blessed with wonderful friends and family. Since I live extremely far away from both of our extended family, I found blogging as a way to stay connected with the adventures of our life.

We just like to laugh and be ourselves around each other.
Isn't that what best friends are for?

I'm in Commercial Real Estate and am surrounded by brokers. :) I'm a Property Manager though. I manage all the tenants they find for me. Not that you care, just always think it's cool to meet someone who can relate. :)

I just found you and realized you were a follower of mine... your blog is too cute, and I've always dreamed of visiting Seattle - inspired first by the 90s grunge movement and i've just heard its a great place. How the rain? It's rained SO much in Arkansas and Texas this year, i don't think it would be much different!

Love your blog. We just moved from WA state to Virginia. I miss Washington so much. Pike's place was the best :) The whole area is a post card (on a sunny day of course). Anyways I'm going to start following your blog. I can live vicariously in WA though you!

Just started following and I love your "Wishful Wednesdays!" I too started blogging when my husband and I moved away from our families and the Dallas area. We now live in Denver and being a southern girl living in the west takes some adjustment but we love it here too!

You have an adorable blog!!! Ironically, I was in pharma sales in Dallas as well and was promoted to Austin. Was laid off last year, but after 12 years in the industry, I am loving being a STHM!! What company do you work for?

Hello Kelsey! I just stumbled across your blog through Amanda's link to you on her blog. http://www.ouroklahomanest.com/

My husband, daughter and I just moved to Lynnwood, WA from San Antonio, TX!!! He got a job with Boeing. So instantly after reading your "Meet The Smith's" and "Our Story" I wanted to read more! So I did! I love your blog. I too feel that blogging is a great way to stay in contact with family and friends in TX.
We are kind of lonely here as we have yet to meet very many people, however we are LOVING Washington. On the weekends, we love to travel to Seattle as it has SO MUCH to offer.
If you have any tips of fun things to do in Seattle please do share!
I look forward to following your blog!

You're from Texas and moved to Seattle, I'm from Seattle and moved to Texas! I think you got the better end of the deal, as I miss home all the time (I would like to point out however that today in Waco, it's 95 degrees with a light breeze, so at least the weather's sunny). :) Love your blog!
