MyCharity Water

A couple weeks ago, one of the topics for Wishful Wednesday was based around charities.  One of my readers left a inspirational post based around her 21st birthday and MyCharity: Water, a non-profit that is bringing clean and safe water to people in developing nations.

Sam just started a campaign to raise $5,000, which builds a well and gives an entire community (roughly 250 people) fresh running water for years to come.

I just watched a video on the site to learn more about the cause, and every little bit counts.  No donation is too big or too small!  You can help by word of mouth by sharing her campaign or if you are willing and able, make a donation today!

If you feel so inclined, click directly
to her Water Campaign at MyCharity:Water (here)!

Also, feel free to pop on over to Sam's blog
(here) to learn more about MyCharity: Water.

Thanks for letting us know about this!

Thanks for posting about this organization girl! I am happy that we can use our blogs to help make people more aware! I just blogged about the oil incident and how we can help donate for that too. ;) Hope your weekend went well sweetie!

Thanks for sharing this!! What a great opportunity to help out!! I have seen first hand how important clean drinking water is when I was in El Salvador... and $20 is nothing when you put it into perspective and realize that it provides clean water for 20 years!! We can all afford to donate to that! :)
