'I wish' .... My pet could talk because I have been dying to know why Harley excessively licks the floor/carpet/tile, and what Willis thinks of not being the favorite child!
Here are my two babies ....
I seriously love these two pups to death, and my day to day would be so boring without the love and tenderness I get from them! My hubby surprised me with Harley, my 5 lb. Yorkie, as my first Christmas present after we were married. This little girl is spoiled rotten and deserves the world, BUT the dang child drives me nuts with her constant licking of the floor. She is a scrounger and will do anything for food. She doesn't beg, but she just goes off licking any and everything to find crumbs, things left behind, and especially cleans my kitchen floors for me. I hate it and want to know what will make her stop.
On the other hand, Willis was my husbands dog before we got married. He is a lhasa apsa mutt, and he has to be one of the most mild and laid back dogs out there. I guarantee if he could talk .... he would question my love and wonder why his little sister gets all the attention. He probably thinks to himself, "I am such a good protector, I don't have accidents in the house, I play nice with my annoying sister, I don't beg, AND I can hold 'it' for over 24 hours .... why don't I get any more love?" It really does break my heart because he is such a well behaved and sweet dog, and I favor my other child. My friends always ask about Willis just to make sure I am spreading the love with my children.
(With that being said, I love both of my dogs and treat them equally nicely, but my life really does revolve around Harley since she is "my" dog!! I do need to learn how to share my love, so once my own kids are in the picture they won't ask why I love one child more. This isn't okay!!)
