After watching The Biggest Loser this season ... I just KNEW Bob Harper was all over crossfit based on the workouts he was putting the contestants through and the gear he was wearing. Not only was he sporting Lululemon, but the black tights and low performance shoe was a dead giveaway. Now seeing that he is crossfitting himself is so great, and his verbiage of saying "the crossfit workouts just make sense." THEY DO! It's functional training that gets you in the fittest shape of your life, and what makes crossfit great is the fact that anyone with any skill level and athleticism can do it as it's modified for your level.
I LOVE IT!!!!!
Another one bites the dust!!!
Along with my mother-in-law who just started crossfit this week.
Gabe and I couldn't be more excited to encourage her along this journey!
Have you ever tried Crossfit?
Email me if you need that push to check it out!

I just went yesterday for the first time!!! :) I loved it and my legs feel great today. I really love the atmosphere. I will be back.
Oh dear god. I know you're a fitness junkie and that's awesome but I am so not and this looks like a little slice of hell to me! =)
Yay, go Bob!! :)
Haven't been yet, I emailed our local one but the thing that REALLY REALLY ties me up is the price. I can't see myself spending that a month so that's my only gripe.
Best workouts ever!
I love Bob :) I also love that you're fitness oriented!!
My hubby has been doing it for a few weeks and I already see a difference! Once I have this baby I definitely want to give it a try!
I love it! I totally just tweeted about this! I LOVE Crossfit! I'm admittedly super nervous about doing it this summer. Last summer, temps here were in the 115 range some days.. Um. that sounds horrible to be in a non air conditioned gym.. haha... But maybe I'll be so addicted by then, it won't matter! You rock, girl! So glad you talk about CF b/c you're one of the reasons I gave it a go! I have another good friend here that does it and between you and her, ya'll made me want to try it! I'm one month in and already seeing results in my endurance, strength, and overall well-being!
I'm dying to try it but I'm kind of nervous! I hear so many good things about it and you're always talking about how much you love it I might need to just do it this spring!
I need a push! How much commitment does it take each week for accurate results and is it costly? I'm nervous that if I join a class the others are going to view me as a weakling, my arms have hardly any muscle - is everyone forced to stay at the same pace?
Actually met a guy last night at a bar who told me they are opening a new Crossfit by me in 2 months! Talked my friend into going with me...only thing that makes me nervous is my bad knees. I can't run or do a lot of jumping, etc...
My friend just started CF, so I'm going to try out a class w/ her this Saturday :)
I loved watching that. The upside down pushups (I know that isn't the right term) were crazy!!
I'm interested in incorporating it since I'm always trying to mix things up but I don't know that I want to commit to it being my only workout. Is that a bad thing?
I'd love it if you were to do a few posts on Crossfit & what it entails, how you got into it, the changes you've seen....etc. You may have already, so if you have, would you point me to them?
I am so tempted! I have friends that do it and just love it!
my manager at work is a member of the crossfit cult (her words, not mine!!) and i am truly inspired to try it out since I love working out. how long have you been doing it?
I've been reading your blog for a while but have never commented or followed....not sure why! I am fixing that today :)
I have been going to crossfit for 3 months now and LOVE it! Such a good workout and challenges you every.single.time!
