Glide for rent!

I decided to forgo bringing my CHI to Australia after reading the warning label and advice from most of ya'll that have studied abroad. Life goes on right :)

After arriving to Sydney and dropping our luggage at our hotel, I popped into the lobby restroom to find a straightener very similar to the CHI for RENT! Omg - What a brilliant idea ... Can't wait to review the hotel with this as an added plus as I have never heard of such a thing. $2 would get a minute and a half use, which is plenty for my "kitten" hair. I just can't imagine how many token turns would be necessary for my best friend with her head of hair! LOL!

Has anyone else seen this in the lobby restroom of a hotel? As my cousin shared ... The only downside is getting ready outside of your guestroom.

What a money making idea LOL I have never been abroad so I have never heard of anything like this till you mentioned it today!

My hair is pin straight....so I guess my problem would be finding a curling iron to work over there!?

I have NEVER heard of this! It would cost me at least $60 to do my hair and I am being dead serious! I have thick hair like nobody's business! but I am so glad that resolved the CHI issue! Ha! Have a great time! I can't wait to see pics mate!

That is a great idea!! Although I'm probably more like your best friend and two minutes wouldn't get me too far. Hope you're having fun!

What a great idea! Too bad it doesn't give you a longer time frame though.

That would cost me $30 to straighten my whole head of hair. Yikes! I guess it would be worth it if I just needed to do my crazy bangs!

OHMYGOSH that's freaking awesome!

Ehr, I'm not sure I would like using an iron that someone else has. Is it just me!?! That is pretty cool though if I was DESPERATE after a rain storm!

That is so cool! I however, would be so broke from using the "Glide," that I wouldn't have money for the vacation! I got some thick, curly hair!!! lol

Since I am living in Italy right now and travel to a lot of different places, that would be a bonus to any hotel!!

That's a new one! I have really thin "kitten" hair too so that would be a heck of a deal!

Thats a fabulous idea! Now, it would probably cost me about 30 a day with all my hair, but it would be well worth the price!

Interesting concept. Not sure if I would use it though beings I have no clue who else has been using it...eww!

That's pretty fabulous! It looks similar to the chi!

It might kind of freak me out that it has touched so many people hair, but that one looked like it was in pretty good condition.

Brilliant! might have to start a similar service in Seattle!

Oh my good god, I would go broke on that machine. It takes FOREVER to straighten this mess o curls I have. But that IS an awesome item to have for rent in a hotel. Super cool.

that is a cool idea..but the only thing is I wouldn't want to use a flat iron that everyone else uses you never know what's going on in someone else's hair !! I am just a germaphobe !!
