Wishful Wed ....3min

'I wish' .... I could spend three
minutes in Lady Gaga's shoes!

Google Images

Let's be honest, I love her!!!

I find Lady Gaga very unique/odd.  She is intriguing, overly slightly dramatic, an amazing artist, and so much more.  Only she will sing and dance in an over the top manner and NOT lip sync.  Even Britney Spears won't do that!

I saw an interview with Lady Gaga on Oprah earlier this month .... and I like her that much more now .....  She said she isn't just being provocative to be provocative, but she wants her music and outer expression to inspire others and to actually mean something.    She encouraged others "to be proud and celebrate all the things you don't like about yourself and do what makes you feel good while expressing it!"

Who doesn't like a genuine lady who was surprisingly well poised and had a reason behind the madness :)  She is way more like-able than I ever could have imagined after seeing her interview, and I would love to experience her life for maybe a few extra minutes once the three pass!

Who intrigues you?!?!?

hahah. I WAS wondering if you saw that Oprah when you posted this week's WW topic. As you will see from my post, I was thinking along the same lines...:)
I do not get to watch Oprah often, but I sometimes try to schedule my run time at the gym when her show is on! :) So, I saw that show, and Lady Gaga was so sweet on it!

I'm not necessarily a Lady Gaga fan, I'll admit it. HOWEVER....I watched her 20/20 interview w/ Barbara Walters and previously would've just said that she was a freak, but she was very eloquent and very enjoyable. I thnk even BW was surprised!

Oh Gaga...how we love you lol She is literally the modern day Madonna in the way that she doesn't care what people think, she wears what she wants and sings what she sings yet is a top selling artist! I hope she wins some Grammys! Happy Wednesday! xo

I love the Gags too!

Wanna hear something crazy? I actually did a musical theatre intensive with her about 6 summers ago at NYU. At that time though, she was just Stephanie. Funny, huh?

I saw that interview on Oprah and liked her more after that. She seemed much more "normal" than I thought she was.

Ok. Debbie Downer here! I won Meet & Greet passes from Jackie & Bender this past year. I admit that I liked her songs okay but wasn't an over the top fan when I won the passes but one of my BFFs and I woke up at the crack to be at the kiss studios downtown and waited for two hours to meet her. There were probably 20 people total waiting and at least half were huge fans of hers. When the time finally came for her to come in her "people" announced that she had pre signed pictures for us and we were to all pair up to have a picture taken... she walked in aloof as ever and didn't acknowledge us at all! She was not out right rude, I just felt bad for these girls who brought a cd or poster to be signed and she didn't give them the time of day... so since then I just really haven't liked her. She is famous because of her fans! Throw 'em a bone Lady!

I suppose it doesn't help that the other person I met via M&G passes from Jackie & Bender was Natasha Bedingfield who gave us an amazing private performance at EMP and signed our stuff to each one of us and let us have pics taken with our own cameras! Loved her!

Anyway, I agree it would be cool to be in her wacky shoes... but I just don't appreciate arrogance.

Sorry to be the only person who was a downer!

I've decided that I love her. When she first came out I was like what is this? Then I was curious and now I fully love her. She makes you stop and notice. I think that someone has finally taking over as Queen, Madonna had her run but the Ga is full blown amazing!

Girl, she is down right scary. I guess this one thing we differ on. I don't care for her at all.
