Fragrance Lake Hike

Before the Seattle summer disappears right out from underneath me, Gabe and I made it a point to get a few more hikes under our belt as we all know that in a few more weeks ... Seattle will get a littler "damper!"

I had seen pictures from Fragrance Lake
which is north of Seattle at the Larrabee State Park
and loaded my family in our Outback and we were off to explore!

This is a perfect way for me to spend a weekend:  getting exercise, hanging with my loved ones, taking pictures, and getting lots of fresh air.  One of my most favorite things about Seattle is the abundance of God's beauty right in my backyard!

Then, on the drive home we indulged in a Blooming Onion at Outback :)
Consumed all the calories back that I burned, lol.

Gorgeous views! Nothing I love more than getting some exercise, being outdoors and being able to spend time with my husband and puppy :)

The hike at Fragrance Lake looks gorgeous! I am going to have to tell my boyfriend about it and maybe check it out. I love living in Washington :D

I LOVE this hike. I grew up in that area - in fact, the land you see out a ways in the picture of the water (top left pic) is where I grew up! Needless to say, I've done that hike many times...
