Cannot WAIT for those pics, so excited for you!! I think you are in good hands with that Rick Steves book! My only request for London is to keep an eye out for Kate! ;) We went to most of those places last year, so my blog has some pics/itinerary on there! Santorini - seriously a full camera battery, you will be taking pics all day!!!

Omg you are going to have the best time, this trip sounds incredible. I can't recommend the Rick Steves Europe book enough, it was so helpful when we went to Europe!

Check out Katie's blog Running on Happiness. You might have to go back in the archives a bit, but she has gorgeous pictures of her recent trip to Europe (some of the same locations) and talks about great places to see, etc.

Fist I am super jealous of your wonderful trip! Second, while you are in the area of Naples and Carpi if you can make a stop in Positano you MUST do so. You can take a ferry ride from Capri or from Sorrento. My husband and I just went there last year and it is literally my favorite place in the world. Capri is beautiful, and while you are there take one of the fun convertible cabs from Capri Town to AnaCapri! SO much fun and lets you really see the island, it is worth the extra money! Have a great time!

London is usually pretty raining this time of year so take appropriate shoes because there's nothing worse than walking around with wet feet!

My advice is to pack in those big backpacker backpacks instead of bringing luggage. When we went to Italy, we stayed in 5 differenent cities and traveled by train. It was SO much easier being able to carry everything on my back versus lugging around luggage. We were gone for 10 days and I did wear a couple of things more than once. However, there is something to be said about traveling light! Have fun! Jealous! :)

SHUT UP! When will you be strolling through London!? We live near Manchester but we have a few trips to London booked! You are going to have a fabulous time!!! In London do the London Eye - incredible views and if you're there on a weekend stroll through the Borough Market - one of the biggest open air markets!
