This family living lighter is definitely the extreme, but I like their thinking. It makes me realize I'm super duper uber wasteful. BUT, I want to be more eco-friendly and Seattle gives me the ability almost everywhere I go.
Could you make a few weekly adjustments to
make a little less waste? And are you willing to?

I've seen this before, I think they are a little extreme but it works for them. I do agree with making wiser choices and reusing as much as possible.
I couldn't do it just like those people, but we do recycle. :)
well i guess that's interesting that they make so little waste! my trash can is always full!
Wow - that is really interesting! I've been meaning to pick up some of the reusable produce/fruit bags for the store and this video has inspired me to buy some asap!
i want to composte! thats amazing how those worms eat everything! i wonder if they use toilet paper!!
Woah! That is so interesting!!! I'd love to start living a more eco-friendly lifestyle.. I wonder if I could ever be as good at it as they are?! THANKS FOR SHARING!
I read about them in a magazine a year ago and was both amazed and in shock by it. I think they are a great example of what is possible & I actually have begun some of their tips.
I think I saw them on the Today Show! I wouldn't be very good at that, but they definitely have the right idea. Makes you think, ya know...
I saw them on a morning show! So interesting. Unfortunately our city isn't very green, but we keep recycling bins in our garage for cardboard, plastic, aluminum/tin, glass & junk mail. It's made a huge difference in our waste! I also use canvas grocery bags. My next endeavor is cloth diapering...we shall see!
In the scene where the husband is in the office, there is a trash can full of paper.
That is very motivating! I think I am too wasteful too..
That is incredible...I am ashamed to say that we definitely fill up our giant trash can every week, and sometimes twice a week! I really should get better about this.
