Movie Night

Last week, I had the joys of winning the Deluxe Cocoa Sampler from Keeping up with Kelly!  She has a giveaway a couple times a month, and maybe you will be the next lucky winner.  Thanks Kelly, what a perfect treat for a chilly night!

You better believe I made myself a yummy cup of Mint Hot Chocolate (my fav!), built a fire (actually hubby did), and turned on a Pixar film!!  I would have made some popcorn, but I am still bitter that I bought the pack of 1,000 from Costco, which is 99% Fat Free and tastes way too healthy.  Next time, Homestyle it is!!

I am a huge fan of Pixar films and finally just got around this evening to watch Up!  Carol told me to get my kleenex ready, and for some reason I didn't cry or even come close!!  And, I am an emotional movie watcher - remember me and The Blind Side??  I thought Up was hilarious, and Gabe and I found ourselves enjoying the cute and well made movie.

Ratatouille is still hands down one of my favorite Pixar film, as well as the classic Toy Story series.  Gotta love lines from that movie!  For some reason, Wall-E was a little too slow for me, but everyone else liked it but me it seems .....

What's your favorite Pixar film?

**By the way, how in the world did I get 499 READERS???  It all happened within the blink of an eye -- amazing!!!

Up is so wonderful! I think it might actually be my favorite Pixar with Monsters Inc. following close behind.

I didn't like Wall-E either... It was so boring!! I loved UP, but I did cry. I cried @ the parts when it showed him and his wife. I thought it was beautiful : ) I think my favorite would have to be Toy Story.."Don't Make Me Use My Angry Eyes" lol..

Have you seen The Princess and The Frog? It is not a PIXAR film but a fantastic cartoon. I loved it.

I think Up is my favorite Pixar movie- before that it was Finding Nemo :) I love them all! Wall-E is the only one I've watched once though (oh- and Bolt). Usually we see them in the theatre then buy them, but not so much with those two.

Sounds like an awesome evening! Don't you just LOVE those nights?!!!! As for my favorite Pixar film I would have to say it's Toy Story (the first and the second). I haven't seen UP yet but plan to rent it soon and as for Wall-E, well, I didn't care too much for it :( I'm a kid at heart, who still enjoys watching cartoons, and Cinderella will always be my fav :)

Omigosh, how did you not cry while watching "Up"?? ;-) I bawled throughout the whole movie... I think it was a combo of the music and the loss that he had for Ellie :-( I'm about to tear up now, haha!

I love Wall-E and Finding Nemo. I haven't see Ratatoulie yet, but want to!

I would love a Cannon Rebel too! Wishful thinking, huh? :-)

Hot Cocoa sounds so amazing right now! Yummy! I think out of all of those I've only seen Ratatouille and Toy Story but I LOVED Ratatouilee. I'll definitely check the others out though. They would be great to watch with my baby brother!

I cried my eyes out during the beginning of Up. I also agree the Wall-E was a bit slow, but I really wanted to like it. While I love pixar, and I think it is just fascinating, noting beats the good ol Disney movies (Cinderella, The Little Mermaid etc...)

Up is in my queue. We'll see it someday!
if that popcorn is still wrapped you might consider donating it. I'm sure someone else might enjoy it and you can buy what you really want :)

I too did not like Wall-E. I have yet to see UP though, we were considering renting it today, and now I think we for sure will!

My personal favorite pixar movie is by far Finding Nemo. I have loved them all but Nemo cracks me up!
