12 inches GONE

Remember that one time I had really.really.long stringy hair?!?!
I am now 12inches shorter ... wowzers, when did my hair get so long.


I am the worst person at making big decisions, absolutely horrible, but my poll was for 92% chopping 4% for keeping it long and 4% for shoulder length.  I took the advice of the ones closest to me, cut it short and styled it for a day, AND then went back to get more "layers."   Now, I loveeeee it.


If only I could have sent it to Locks of Love, but the bleach did me in.
It is very "springy" if I say so myself~!

    I love it, it looks GREAT!! And good for you for not being so overly attached to your hair. Seriously, I know girls who have CRIED because they cut their hair an inch or two short. Seriously.

    I'm always inbetween with keeping my hair long or chopping it. I actually did to it one maybe a little bit shorter than yours now and couldnt wait for it to grow after acouple weeks. But the change is nice and your feels so healthy.

    It looks fabulous! I've always been partial to shorter hair. It's so much more fun and sassy! I have really thin hair, so I usually keep it in a bob or a pixie.

    I've donated to locks of love before, it helped give me the courage to go through with the big chop. I figured, if I hated it, at least it was a for a good cause! lol... It's a shame you couldn't donate yours. For future reference, in case you decide to do a drastic plunge in the future Pantene Pro V Beautiful Lengths accepts 8 inches of hair, instead of 10, and they have lower standards as far as coloring and such... I donated to them the second time because I was too impatient to wait for 10 inches!! hahaha.

    Oh my gosh, I love it! I wish I could pull off a style like that. My hair is way to wavy and thick and has a mind of its own. Think Carrie Bradshaw when she's trying to be cute, but really her short, kinky hair just looks crazy.
