I just picked up another drug and had to go to Dallas for training. Such a bummer to be able to see my best friends, my one and only nephew, and be able to eat at all of my favorite restaurants ...... of course I LOVED IT!
Once I landed from San Diego, my first meal was Houston's! If I could eat one salad the rest of my life, it would be their Chicken Salad .... ohhhhhh yummyness!!! Dallas has changed so much in the three and a half years I have been gone, and it was great having a meeting in my old stomping grounds!
Second on the schedule, meeting up with my other half, Abby! I hadn't seen Colt since April, and loved being able to spend some time with him. Abby has been talking about her Mom's new cookie monster (jk, not sure the name of it though) dessert, and it was to-die for! I only needed a few bites since it was so rich, but it could have been sold in a restaurant for sure.

I love Taco Bueno too!!! I had it for lunch today!!! Can't wait to see the pictures to come! It's so great to have such a good friend and be in your hometown.
ReplyDeleteomg omg omg I got so hooked on Taco Bueno in college and once I moved back home to Austin there were NONE. And now? I drive to Round Rock (20 minutes) or San Marcos (45) to get my fix! Pathetic? I think not, its well worth the drive. Im sure youd agree.

AAaaah I remember going to Houston's with Shel I think when I visited SMU. Lots of sandwich and bistro type options? Mmmmm...

Eric eats it um.. 3 times a week. No joke. He says it's his cure for anything that ails him since his mom ate it so much while she was prego.. Seriously, that's his argument. haha... :) Glad you had a good time in Dallas, girly! :)
