Thailand on the horizon

It's official ... I booked out trip to Thailand!!!!
Eeeeek!  It is so much more surreal since the flights have been booked.  Now let the real planning begin.

    We went to Thailand 2 years ago....it was an experience....We went to Bangkok, Phuket, and the island of Koh Pi Pi. It's very beautiful, but dirty too...trash everywhere and dogs and cats everywhere. Lots of lady boys too! Yikes! Let me know if you have any questions.

    Also...be careful in the tuk tuk's....tell them no thai fashion, no thai tours and not TAT...they will look at you like ....woah...this girl knows what she is talking about. They will try and bring you to all of these places. You have to tell them up front that you do not want to go. Also, the cab drivers will try and not turn the meters on....make them! If they won't, do not get the cab...they will try and rip you off.
