Super thankful for my neighborhood supermarket,
Trader Joe's, I just love ya!!!
I try to get all my grocery goodies from TJ because let's be honest, they have everything at such a resonable price. Move over Central Market because my go-to items at TJ are always spicy hummus, dips, fruit, veggies, chips, nuts, salad, wine, and desserts. AND, the best part of my shopping experience is snagging a baby cup of coffee and sampling a taster that I most often am lured into buying.
My momma is the best gift giver ... Trader Joe's giftcards, love it! And considering she was the one that introduced me to it in Cali, it's quite fitting. Who doesn't love free groceries?!

We don't have a Trader Joes in Florida. Super sad face! I've heard great things about it.
ReplyDeleteI am so jealous we don't have Trader Joe's in the south. LOVE IT! We always spend lots of time in the summer in Cali and I love to do my shopping there!

ReplyDeleteThere are so many things I love. Their cheeses, hummus, baked lentil chips, peanut butter, salt water taffy, and, of course, their wine! So many more things, too!
I was considering a TJ's post. Great minds think alike, I guess. :)
No Trader Joes in Boise, so I haven't been yet but there is one in Minneapolis so I need to check it out. I have heard such good things about it.

ReplyDeleteI LOVE Trader Joe's! The closest one to me is two hours away...so so so sad. I think I love everything there! I'm a big fan of their tomato soup and my husband loves the chocolate covered blueberries. My dog really likes their peanut butter dog cookies too!

ReplyDeleteThey have a new dark chocolate/black sea salt chocolate bar that is to die for...literally! Please try it, soooo good! It's up at the front by checkout and has a ship and wave on the front.

ReplyDeleteWe just got one here last year, and its been so much fun...no more 90 minute drive! I was there yesterday, and my new favorite would be the spinach tortellini, with chopped tomato (they have these funky brown tomatoes) and their tuscan vinaigrette dressing. A-ma-zing.
ReplyDeleteI know it sounds weird, but I LOVE their basil plant! I use so much basil in the summer and get tons of use out of that $3 plant! Oh and yummy cheese too!

ReplyDeleteOh goodness do I ever love TJ! My favorites are the new dark chocolate covered peanut butter wafers, the AMAZING Choc. Chip cookie ice cream sandwiches... seriously try them! I also love their fresh produce, wine, and everything else they sell there :)

ReplyDeleteI love TJ's! Their frozen entrees--sweet potato gnocchi, shells with brie and asparagus, and flatbread with caramelized onions and prosciutto are some of my favorites. Basically, I love everything there!

I am obsessed with Trader Joe's!! My favorite grocery store, I just wish there were one closer to me. I have to drive about 20 minutes to the closest one but it's worth it!

They sell DELISH madeline cookies that my son and I devour - lol! If you like Thai food, they are starting to sell a lot of good Pad Thai and curries in the frozen section. OMG and the Candy Cane Jo Jos during the holiday season are the BOMB!!
Oh, I miss Trader Joe's! I lived on NE 45th St. when I lived in Seattle and would go the nearest one (I can't remember the street it was on). We are finally getting one in Dallas!!! Woo Hoo! It will still be a drive for me to get there, but it will be well worth it. Even though I love TJ, I still don't think you can beat the freshly made tortillas at Central Market :)

ReplyDeleteTrader Joe's is our favorite!!! Love so much stuff there. The Carne Asada is amazing!!! The flax seed chips are delicious. The fish is tasty. I could go on and on :)
