Pullups Baby

These little hands accomplished 90 prescribed pull ups in a crossfit workout, and I am SO excited about it. I have been working on getting my pull ups RX'd (without an assistance band) for awhile now, and it officially happened!!! AND, of all times .... The workout had 90 of them. Wayyy too many for my liking since I am in pain now because of them, but from here on out no more band for me :)

I would be even happier is the five rips would heal on my hands. UGH!

  4. From a long-time assistance band user: you are a rockstar!!! I love CrossFit and KNOW how hard it can be on your body...you poor thing.

Try some Neosporin and gloves/socks on your hands for bedtime to keep your tears from getting icky.

  13. Atta girl! I was a gymnast for years and this would always happen after a tough bar workout. I always used liquid vitamin E on my hands and eventually they would get tougher. Nice work!
