Inspiration

I will leave you with this ...

Talk about inspirational.  Should we all sign up for yoga STAT?!

One problem:
I am not a yoga "kinda girl "since it is too slow paced for me!  BUT, after seeing this photo I am really uber impressed.  I took Bikram Yoga for a month or so and found that a 90 minute classes with a room at 105 degrees was amazing.

Have you tried Hot Yoga?

I will stick to Crossfit since I love the results and feeling after finishing a workout ... My thoughts are, as long as you have some kind of regimen that works for you, then stick with it!

  3. WOW! I'd love to be able to go that.

Yoga isn't my thing either. I prefer to be more ...active. I can't be that still for long! haha

  4. I never thought yoga was my thing, but now it is!I am kind of addicted. I think that it depends on where you are, but I don't feel like I am not being active. It has really changed my body and I am loving the results! The key is a good studio with great instructors.

  5. I actually just started hot yoga! Not Birkham though I think they keep theirs at 90 degrees. I loved it but when there are lots of people in the room holy cow it's HOT super sweaty.

  8. I love to do yoga but I haven't done it in forever! There's actually a place in the town where I go to school that has the hot yoga but I'm not sure if I want to try it. Does everyone sweat an insanely amount from the heat??

  21. What you can't hit that pose?? Pwsssh...haha jk. That's insane and looks painful. I wish I were a yoga kinda gal but I'm like you, it's a little to slow for me. I still try and do it at least once a week b/c it's great for you! I've never tried hot yoga but hear it's lovely! Keep up the good work at CrossFit! You look great!

  22. I have tried hot yoga. Not a fan. Felt like I was dying. I know you love CF, but you should switch up your routine! If you go to a good yoga class they do move fast and make you sweat!

  23. That photo really makes me feel like I need to step it up!

I love hot yoga, too, but I'm pretty old-fashioned exercise - running, weights, boot camp - so I don't always make time for it.

  29. All I can say is "WOW", I don't think I could EVER do a yoga position like that!

    ReplyDelete
  30. I have not tried Bikram; I don't think I could stand the heat. But I do love other forms of Yoga!

    ReplyDelete
  31. That is stinkin crazy! Back in the day, I could stand on that one foot and pull my other towards my head (years and years of gymnastics, dance, cheer), but there is NO way I could do it now. And I don't think I EVER had the balance to do it upside down. Dang.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Certainly inspires me to get back on the yoga train!

    ReplyDelete
  33. That scares me. I have tried yoga dvds before and always wanted to check out a class...but I think I would keep it a lot more basic!

    ReplyDelete
  34. Yikes, I know for a fact my body would NEVER get into that position. Ever. I am probably the least flexible person on the planet. I did buy a yoga dvd recently and am going to try it out. Eeeek!

    ReplyDelete
  35. Wow! That is incredible! I tried yoga in college and the instructor kept saying thigns like "breathe in the good spirits, breathe out the bad" and I couldn't stop laughing...needless to say I haven't tried it again since!

    ReplyDelete
  36. holy cow. that girl just made me want to not eat for days and work out like mad. however, that's notsomuch an option for me right now ;)

  37. I couldn't agree more - find something that works for YOU! For me it is running, except I am having to find new activities since I got injured. I might try more Yoga!

  38. I have a friend that does hot yoga and loves it... she said she literally only stayed for like 20 minutes the first time cause she said she thought she was going to DIE... but now really enjoys it
