Vikings vs. Dragons


We're seeing How To Train Your Dragon,
my first IMAX 3-D movie with the hubby!!!

Rotten Tomatoes gave it a 98 out of 100, which is a pretty amazing review. Hope my $16 spent on this ticket was worth it .... AND when did the price of IMAX go up?!!?!

    I agree, IMAX definitely went up in price. The last 3D we saw was Avatar and we paid $18/ticket!

    We haven't seen it yet but it is on our list. I haven't seen an IMAX movie since I was in elementary school.
    Not sure how many 3D movies are in our future because they are so expensive. I almost choked when we had to pay $24($12/ticket) to go see Alice in Wonderland in 3D. And we won't even talk about the price of food at the theaters. ;)

    Oh I can't wait to hear what you say about it. Matt is wanting to go. 3D is about the only thing we will spend money on seeing these days, but $16 per ticket is crazy!

    Officially your IMAX tickets are what my tickets cost for a regular movie here. How is that possible and reasonable? I'd pay 8 bucks a pop for IMAX. But 8 for a regular theatre movie is ridiculous. Geez.

    I went to see it purely for the fact that Rotten Tomatoes gave it 98% as well and I thought it was a fabulous movie.

    I have never seen an IMAX 3D movie...Luke and I hope to see Toy Story 3 in IMAX 3D for our anniversary (I guess we are kids at heart!) I heard "How to Train your Dragon" was really good! I hope you enjoyed it :-)
