Reality is sinking in, Christmas vacation is over, and the New Year has begun!

Before getting back to our routines tomorrow, Gabe and I go to spend the day doing something extra fun. Today was my second Seahawk game to go to, and it was Seattle's last game of the season! Seattle football tickets are hard to come by, so thank you - thank you Drew for letting us help fill your seats!
It's a packed house and has to be one of the loudest football stadiums!
The guys covering their ears, talking to themselves, and doing anything not to hear the scores from announcer who was giving updates on other games. All of this so they could watch it on Tivo .... oh geez.
Drew was one of the first guys Gabe met when we moved to Seattle, and we are so thankful for the Baker fam!
Lastly, I would be a horrible football player by the looks of this pic!
Sadly, Seattle's season wasn't so hot, and we didn't win, but there's always next year!
We did get to witness Chris Johnson, running back for the Titans, break a record for over 2,000 rushing yards. He is the sixth person in history to do this!
Looks like you all had a fun time with no rain! But bummer about the outcome, and well, our season in general. ha.

ReplyDeleteJust found your blog... tell me about those seahawks.... we watch them EVERY time they are on I dont know why maybe its because they did make it to superbowl once and maybe they will be good enough to do it again!!!! or maybe its just because I go by their stadium everyday..so I feel like I should watch them on TV!
