After arriving to Sydney and dropping our luggage at our hotel, I popped into the lobby restroom to find a straightener very similar to the CHI for RENT! Omg - What a brilliant idea ... Can't wait to review the hotel with this as an added plus as I have never heard of such a thing. $2 would get a minute and a half use, which is plenty for my "kitten" hair. I just can't imagine how many token turns would be necessary for my best friend with her head of hair! LOL!
Has anyone else seen this in the lobby restroom of a hotel? As my cousin shared ... The only downside is getting ready outside of your guestroom.
omg that is brilliant! how lucky!! i've never seen that before. let us know how it goes!
ReplyDeletehave fun!! :)
What a money making idea LOL I have never been abroad so I have never heard of anything like this till you mentioned it today!
ReplyDeleteLOL
My hair is pin straight....so I guess my problem would be finding a curling iron to work over there!?
Oh wow, I have never heard of renting a straightener..what a great idea.
ReplyDeletegreat idea!! :>)
ReplyDeleteThat really is a great idea! Have fun!!!
ReplyDeleteBrilliant idea!!! But i would however have to pass on the sharing of hair utensils. I'm OCD like that :)- LOL
ReplyDeleteHope you're having an AMAZING time hun. I'm sooo jealous that you're in Australia.
OMG!
ReplyDeleteFirst of all!
CAN'T BELIEVE YOU AND GABE are in AUSTRALIA!!!!!!!
Can YOU believe it!!!!!!!!!!!
Now!
About that straightner!!!!!
OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
What a FAB idea!
I think I would be yanking that thing out of the wall and takin' that baby to my room!
xo
Can't wait to hear about your trip! xo
That is a GREAT idea! I would be paying a ton to straighten my crazy hair though! haha
ReplyDeletewhoa!!!! I have NEVER heard of this! what a neat (and sort of strange) idea! :)
ReplyDeleteI have NEVER heard of this! It would cost me at least $60 to do my hair and I am being dead serious! I have thick hair like nobody's business! but I am so glad that resolved the CHI issue! Ha! Have a great time! I can't wait to see pics mate!
ReplyDeleteSo jealous you're in Australia! That's a pretty ingenious idea.
ReplyDeleteThat is a great idea!! Although I'm probably more like your best friend and two minutes wouldn't get me too far. Hope you're having fun!
ReplyDeleteHow cool! Have fun girly, super jealous:-)
ReplyDeleteThat's great! I've never seen one of those!
ReplyDeletemust say that is a first for me....how clever!!!
ReplyDeleteCould not see myself using it though....plus it takes way too long to get my hair straight!
That is awesome!! :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea! Too bad it doesn't give you a longer time frame though.
ReplyDeleteThis is awsome! Hope you are having a great time!
ReplyDeleteThat would cost me $30 to straighten my whole head of hair. Yikes! I guess it would be worth it if I just needed to do my crazy bangs!
ReplyDeleteOHMYGOSH that's freaking awesome!
ReplyDeleteEhr, I'm not sure I would like using an iron that someone else has. Is it just me!?! That is pretty cool though if I was DESPERATE after a rain storm!
ReplyDeleteThat is so cool! I however, would be so broke from using the "Glide," that I wouldn't have money for the vacation! I got some thick, curly hair!!! lol
ReplyDeleteSince I am living in Italy right now and travel to a lot of different places, that would be a bonus to any hotel!!
ReplyDeleteThat's a new one! I have really thin "kitten" hair too so that would be a heck of a deal!
ReplyDeleteThats a fabulous idea! Now, it would probably cost me about 30 a day with all my hair, but it would be well worth the price!
ReplyDeleteInteresting concept. Not sure if I would use it though beings I have no clue who else has been using it...eww!
ReplyDeleteOMG that is AMAZING!!!
ReplyDeleteHow nifty is that!
ReplyDeleteHope you are having a blast in the land down under! :)
Holy moly! That's amazing!
ReplyDeletewhat a money-maker! that's crazy, but very sensible!!
ReplyDeleteWOW this is awesome!! Never seen this before!!
ReplyDeleteThat's pretty fabulous! It looks similar to the chi!
ReplyDeleteIt might kind of freak me out that it has touched so many people hair, but that one looked like it was in pretty good condition.
Brilliant! might have to start a similar service in Seattle!
ReplyDeleteOh my good god, I would go broke on that machine. It takes FOREVER to straighten this mess o curls I have. But that IS an awesome item to have for rent in a hotel. Super cool.
ReplyDeletethat's amazing! how awesome!
ReplyDeletealso, still jealous of the trip! i've always wanted to go to australia!
THATS AWESOME!!!!
ReplyDeletethat is a cool idea..but the only thing is I wouldn't want to use a flat iron that everyone else uses you never know what's going on in someone else's hair !! I am just a germaphobe !!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea! I've never heard of something like that!
